To create a music video for an upcoming track by Au/Ra that explores medicine, whilst focusing on Au/Ra’s performance.

This music video for artist Au/Ra saw her drowning in pink, viscous liquid.

We worked with director Theo Davies who created the treatment, and partnered with SFX company Machine Stop to build a tank where Au/Ra could submerge into the liquid. Made from food thickener and dye and warmed to make it comfortable to film in, we ensured it was non-toxic and safe for her skin and consumption. The shots show her sinking further into the tank, kicking out against the sides, which made a great contrast to the slow, haunting melody of the track.
